Mexican dinner (bento 13)

20 Feb

bento 13

Chicken, onions and red peppers with Mexican spices, corn tortillas, tortilla chips, fat free refried beans, guacamole wrapped to prevent browning, white chocolate, string cheese.

I realize I much prefer flour tortillas than corn ones. Plus, corn tortillas don’t refrigerate well at all.

I have a huge craving for Japanese food. Noodle bowls, sushi, and taiyaki in particular. I’m really tempted to get a taiyaki pan!! Is it worth $23? Sigh.

    $23, oh hell yes!

    Wait, that’s not cheap…

For a period of time, I had a craving for ramen noodles, esp after reading a NY Times article about it going to that ramen shop at st. marks. Man, were those noodles bad. And the stupid tv commercials they show in it! with little girl voices going “WAAAHH” whenever the camera pans over to the cooked noodles drenched in nicely tinted broth. Along with a half sliced egg with the golden yellow yolk about to ooze out, and the thinly sliced pork loins with just a right amount of juicy fat in the middle of it…

I want ramen! AHHHHHH!!! (arms failing upwards)

Anyways, my point is …you suppose ramen comes in bento boxes?
